I will never understand why the developers decided to limit the number of save slots. Or did I just miss an option somewhere, to add more?
And even if a limit is needed, why not give us 5 slots, as there are 5 gods with kind of different play styles. I'm an altaholic and want to try them all, without the need to delete another character.

FULL ACK! Why Kalypso? Why?
When you change the weapon, the God automatically changes to the appropriate God.
As an an example. If you use bar weapons (Odin) and arm an axe (no idea which god) then this one is selected.

Ok, I go with it. But why only 4 slots? Is it so difficult to create more? Why is there such limitation? Perhaps you can buy a dlc for 2 more slots ^^ just kidding... or not?

Hmm, haven't tried that yet, but i will give it a shot this evening.
But as Patsche85 mentioned, why limit the slots in the first place. I want to really specialize in one weapon set, and won't switch so often, so I want to have 5 specialists.
I know, you should be able to specialize 2 sets in one playthrough (read that somewhere), but also that doesn't render the limitation meaningful.

Why 5 seperate chars? You can skill one char in all disciplines, if you play NewGame+ over and over again.

I could, but that's not what I want to have. And again, still no reason why you would limit the amount of save slots. This is no online game, your toons are saved locally.

Even online games have more slots. MMORPG's such as Aion, TERA and Black Desert have more then 4 slots available. I play Black Desert myself currently and have 10 slots. Ok, i've expanded them during the release of new chars (you can then buy a new slot coupon for 1 loyalty), but even at release BDO had more then 4 slots.

Why not. Why limit the slots. Diablo 2, Titan Quest, Sacred gold, Sacred 2, they all have more then 4.
In Sacred 2 i've used 5 slots and in Diablo 2 i use 3 slots, same goes for Titan Quest. There are people who just like to have more then one build. And a jack of all trades doesn't work often.

Now with the new Couch Coop feature it is my next biggest wish to increase the slots. So I can only have 3 slot for me and one for a friend, but what should I do if I have more than one friend? One day I want to play with friend A and next day I want to play with friend B. Perhaps I want to play with friend C and D too......
I do not want to start a new game everytime.
Now that we have a shared stash,
I would like more character slots to store loot. Loot!! LOOOT!!!

5 slots at a minimum, so I can have one for each wepon style.

Also a way to trade runes between characters would be nice.
And to recover runes from equipment.
The decision to allows us to have only 4 playable characters is insane. And so are the people who stand up for such stupid developer's decisions.
