I'm having trouble with the game where it randomly crashes back to desktop due to my GPU crashing and restarting, after which I see a blank screen whenever I'm trying to alt-tab back to the game.
I can still hear the game and can seemingly control my character (sword slashing for example) but cannot play anymore since it won't show up on my screen.

I'm not having any problem with the other games I'm playing on that computer, only with Victor Vran. It's kinda spoiling the fun since I cannot seem to be able to reliably recreate the problem.

Anyone this has happened to?

My GPU is an AMD RADEON R9 380, I'm on win 10 and using Direct X 12, drivers are up to date

Thanks!

We're investigating the issue, there seems to be something fishy with the game running on the AMD 380/390 Series. For the moment a small workaround is that people reported better stability with the latest drivers but there are still crashes.
same here, Windows 10 64 updated, Intel Xeon e3-1231 v3, 16 gb ram, radeon r9 380 4 gb, crimson beta 16.10.1 Hotfix

Yes, the issue is still present with 16.10.1 on an R9 380, I have mailed some logs and crash reports, for all the others that are facing the same issue I will suggest doing the same, it might provide useful information to find the cause
ok, i sent logs too. game crash with newest driver and some older drivers. not matter wich map. hope this will be fixed in next update
Any updates on this problem? I'm getting the same crashes as well using a Radeon R9 380. (I already emailed my crash files to the developer.)
Just checking again to see if there's been any update on this? I'd like to reinstall the game and try again, but don't want to bother if the crashes are still happening.

I've been having freezes with it lately, and it's not with AMD cards. Mine is a GTX970 and having the same sort of problems. When it plays, it's generally very good. When it wants to randomly act up it can be a real hassle to continue. Multiple game restarts.
