Same here. You might want to contact support.
Rumours have it that it works with Galaxy, but I don't use Galaxy so wouldn't know.

Crashes with Galaxy, too, which I do use.
Hi, do you still have these crashes with the hotfix which was released yesterday?
Patch 2.06 build 160112 (15 January 2016)
OS X/Linux: Fixed an issue causing the game to crash on map change
Multiplayer: The game now pauses if there's only one player in it. The game resumes if another player joins
Fixed missing music

If so, send your crash dump reports to support@haemimontgames.com

Yes. I do.
Where does one find the crash dump report?
Mine crashes too after the update. I'm not a fan of updates that prevent it from starting the game.

Even rolling back doesn't work.

Sending Game Data and Crash Files

In case you have encountered crashes or are unable to launch the game:

On Windows:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Type %appdata% in the address bar and press Enter
3. Look for a folder called Victor Vran, zip up the contents inside it (if any), and email them to support at haemimontgames dot com.

On Mac OSX:
1. Open Applications->Utilities->Console
2. Look for the "User Diagnostic Reports" section on the left.
All crash reports start with "VictorVran".
3. Select one report and press Command+R (or right click -> "Reveal in Finder") to open the containing folder.
4. Archive all related reports and email them to support at haemimontgames dot com.

On Linux:
1. The relevant folder is ~/.local/share/Victor Vran/Victor Vran
2. Zip it and email it to support at haemimontgames dot com.
I found a solution. It seems I had an old version of Galaxy installed on my PC. I upgraded it to the current version and now Victor Vran loads properly from Windows (still not using Galaxy). Should really be fixed. If I'm not loading via Galaxy, the game shouldn't care about old files on my HD.

Do you know if it was crashing in the Galaxy.dll. I've seen the old, leftover Galaxy bits problem with other [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/crypt_of_the_necrodancer/crashing_without_galaxy/post6]games.

Someone from VV asked me to send the dump report file. When I opened it, about 10 lines from the bottom I saw a mention of galaxy dll, which made me think to update galaxy. Don't know if the crash was on the dll or not; probably not as it wasn't the last line. Don't have the file any more.

Yes. The only way I know of updating galaxy is to launch it then close it. I wish I never installed the thing. Now I dare not remove it.

After you update Galaxy you can safely uninstall it. The early versions left old pieces laying around after unistall because why wouldn't it? That should be fixed. Besides, worst case you would just need to install the latest version of Galaxy. Also, still no Galaxy no Linux... :P

Still having the same problem. Reinstalled and re-removed galaxy, nuked the ProgramData\Gog.Com\Galaxy folder, uninstalled and reinstalled the game with galaxy long gone, the installer still includes galaxy.dll and it still crashes on launch in it.

Damn it.
