Howdy GOG fellas ,

As the title says - I can't enter/host a game with Steam version of the game-
"Game version mismatch"
It appears that there is a patch from 12th of October that Steam users have but is yet to arrive for GOG players .
Any ETA on when we are getting the patch ?

Hey, are you sure you have installed the latest GOG patch, I just tried an Online game between GOG and Steam, it works.

Yes, both show Version 2.07 at the bottom right corner.
Also can't see games the Steam user can see. Probably Steam created games.
Double checked everything. Definitely have the latest version from GOG.

I asked because there is no problem and I can see Steam games from the GOG version. You are sure, that you have installed the 2.07 (20190131) version? Please download the patch or the whole installer for that version from GOG or use GOG Galaxy to auto-update. 2.07 is the major version which has not been bumped since no new features are added for some time.

Ok I think there is the problem. GOG offers an outdated installer (2.07 20181005) for Linux, I don't get the latest version. See the attached Screenshot. GOG Galaxy is not available for Linux.

For Windows there is a newer Version.

I contacted GOG support. Guess it may take a while these days.
still no response from GOG...
Hi, i can cofirm the version difference between Linux and Windows.

The latest Linux version i can download from GOG is 2.07 (20181005),
the lastest Windows version i can download from GOG is 2.07 (20190131).

When using the Windows version i can crossplay with Steam Users, but not with the Linux version.
Is there a new version for Linux available that is compatible?
