Kind folks:
I've played this game more than a couple of times,beginning to end. Owned the GOG version for several years. But only NOW am I finding out about this "redux" version.THis is probably the most beautiful game I've ever played and the storyline compels me to play it over and over....it's that good. THat being said...a REDUX version? How in the world do I "get " this?

Byeohazard: I just bought The Vanishing Ethan Carter. I am unable to locate a serial key for the Redux version. I have checked both GoG Galaxy and the web browser under my games library for a serial key. Both from the drop down menu on the game itself as well as all the other stuff such as orders, wallet....etc.
I tried following the blue directions listed in this thread.
got it figured out. The blue instructions are not acurate.

You must go to the games tab...the Etahn Carter game...click view downloads...and then on the "More" drop down there will will be a redeem serial key button to click on. It will take you to a page with your key.

katatonicone: OK, a bit to be done before you can enjoy The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux in your accounts.

1. Just in case refresh your acount by visiting https://www.gog.com/account/refresh
2. Go to the game view in you library and choose SERIAL KEYS
3. Go to https://www.gog.com/redeem and enter the serial key from step 2 (direct link will probably not work)
4. That's it, now you may see the Redux version as it is a seperate game in your account.

Also, screenshot should help.
Why did they do this? Do you know? Seems like an unnecessary dick move on GoG's part.

I, like xPakrikx, also get 'Code not found' with my code. Does anyone know if the Redux version is no longer available to redeem this way?

Like yourself, I too am wondering this. Going through the steps I also get a "Code not found". Wondering if everyone basically got the same code and they had to pull it without updating those that had not redeemed it yet.

Hi, I can confirm charlemagne1980's guide still works, just redeem it when the original version is on sale.
In step 3,you would only only need to copy the last series of alphabets in the serial key from step 2, instead of the whole website.
Let me know if it works)

The method doesn't work anymore. "Code not found" error displays even though the original game is now on sale. That's quite lame :/

EDIT

I got in touch with GOG Support and they sent me a new code to activate. So basically if you want to have a Redux version of the game - go send them a message and they'll help you.
