That's the whole point of gog, to not bother with steam at all. -_- Van Helsing Final Cut. When When When. 1 year from now 10 years from now, technically it'll be on gog sometime.
I have no problem using steam, just wanted to play the game and not have to wait considering there's no word anymore. Just wanted to know if neocore usually ignores their e-mails unless you sign up on their website as i've sent them two now and never got a response.
If VHFC was released few weeks ago i would be happy and probably would spend another 100+ hours playing it. But it wasn't. At this point i have no more interest in it because GOG and Neocore just disappointed me with their developer-player communication, and also i returned to old games and have no more interest in getting VHFC on GoG (or anywhere else). I even start thinking that if it ever comes it would be free for all previous VH owners, and start having doubts.

it's 2016 and still no final cut? what the hell is going on here?!?
I finally asked for and received a refund for this series, I only got them for the final cut but Neocore seems to be less than concerned with the platform, so I can give my money to a less shady developer.

I bought VH 1 and 2 a long time ago but VH3 just before VHFC release, before it comes out that it is not sure that VHFC will be released on GoG. So sad :(
I sent pdf copies of my gog recites to support@neocoregames.com and requested a steam key to use while I am waiting on the promised gog release and the same day they replied with a stream key.

So if anyone else wants to play in the Final Cut while waiting on the gog release I would recommend doing the same.

I would still rather have the gog release thats why I purchased it here to start with, but that's more about being able to install it and play it in a few years time, so its nice to be able to play the steam version now.
Don't know why since Dec. 30th i've been sending e-mails and proof of purchase to neocore and not once have they given me any type of response, yet your able to get one the same day. Even posted on their forums and nothing.
So I finally got a response today after all this time, and here is what it was :

Thank you for supporting us by purchasing our games! And sorry about the delay in our response!
Within days GOG will publish Van Helsing: Final Cut and all who bought the trilogy will recieve a redeem code autmatically.

Thanks for the patience till then.

Cheers,

Was surprised to actually got an e-mail, even more so that it's supposed to be released in a few days.

Months late, but at least they're holding up their end of the deal, hopefully. I'm still a little hesitant to be excited just because of how both GOG and Neocore have handled the situation. I'm hoping the give a public statement as to why there were such huge issues getting Final Cut to the GOG platform. It's been so hush hush that they've left a few of us with a bitter taste in our mouths. Eh, it's probably just me. I'm a fan of transparency, so I'm probably the only one who is super grumpy about it.

But "within days" is a good sign. I'm hoping they hold to it.
