I'm currently doing the B-Rated Writer quest, and it involves going back to Santa Monica to confront Julius (I knew he looked way to scared to be innocent!), but the whole beach area is inside translucid yellow walls with "trigger" written all over them. I read a few posts mentioning restarting the game because that was likely caused by the auto update gog galaxy made, but I feel like it would be way too bitter to start all over again now, considering this is my very first playthrough. I just want to know if there is a console command of some sorts that would allow me to teleport somewhere else without losing all my items and xp. Thanks for your attention!

tl;dr got stuck in Santa Monica and I want to know if there is a console command to tp outta there without being a new character
Sounds like an auto-update issue. If you hadn't mentioned that I would have asked if you have installed a new version during the playthrough.
So whatever you do, fisrt disable auto-update for bloodlines.
Since you are about halfway through the game, maybe you should try to restore the previous configuration before considering a new start.
I don't use Galaxy, but afaik it has the option to go back to a previous setting. Do so, or if you have installed Wesp's patch reinstall the exact version you had before. Then you should be safe to continue from the last save before the beach where the trouble started.
Btw, a command to get you back to another map won't help in this case. You'd get the same kind of trouble on every map your character has already visited.

Thanks for the help! I`ll try that and let you know if it works
Thank you ludgerarnold! It worked! Now I'll finally be able to finish this masterpiece
