No. If you're referring to Redemption, the way to do it is to use Feed on townsfolk, and then use Blood Heal (once you became a vampire). The guards will attack if they see you, so you might want to use Awe to bring them to you into an alley if you are real low on blood and health. Clicking on the coffin was part of an older version of the game where it was the only way you could save/upgrade your character. The NPCs will slowly regenerate their blood pools, so you could use them indefinitely. The monastery is a good place to do this at the beginning of the game, since there's no one to attack you where the monks are at.

It should work but it's mainly to use your experience points. I seem to recall there was some sort of bug with clicking on the tomb symbol that was fixed with the AOR mod.

I have played Redemption only once and found there are so many bloodpacks lying around that you hardly ever have to feed on people.

P.S. It would be nice if authors put "Bloodlines" or "Redemption" in the topic name. ;-)
