I'm currently in the process of migrating away from steam, and among some other games I really wish I didn't have to purchase this again especially since the original developer no longer exists. I wish there was a way to redeem my steam license.

I don't mean to be rude, and I agree that it's preferable when you can support active developers...

But did you just say "I paid Valve for this. I wish GOG would give it to me for free."?

I don't want anything for free. I just don't like paying for things twice but this game is worth it.

I mean that is a thing for some games, GOG actually does offer it through their GOG Connect program however it's not for all games. There's a lot of legal stuff behind it all, I'd of course like to see this game pop up on there but remember to be patient.
