OK; that makes sense. The explosion happens before the timer runs out once you reach the ramp but if you wait somewhere safe, it should go off via timer and Beckett wouldn't trigger until you went up the ramp. Probably the deck the ramp goes to but I don't know what to call that.

EDIT: Thought I did OK in "reading comprehension" in elementary school - maybe not - "train house" :)

You couldn't kill the giant dog? I was a malkavian and even I could by making his pathing as uneven as possible, it's a thing of brains, man.

He apparently decided to hide from me - never showed up at the door - as Wesp5 said, he likely got stuck somewhere as sometimes happens with pathing.
