Hey Guys,
I have heared that Bloolines was one of the best Vampire Games so I did buy it quite a while ago on Steam. Sadly till today I was not abel to actually play it since id does not run/crash all the time.

Now that it has arived here on GoG and it was said (in the announcement) that it has third party fixes. Does that mean it runs bugfree now and without crashes?

I'd like to know if anyone has tested the GoG Version yet and and can tell how far those bugfixes go.

And what is your oppinion on the price? The Steam Version was sold for less than 5€ at the Steam Sales in the past and the GoG Version is in with 17.59€ right now....

Well, I have no idea about gog version but I can imagine (from disscription) that it's like a steam version, just with Wesp5 unofficial patch built in - you can download Unofficial Patch and put in on steam version and it should run fine (at least I never had any problems).

As for price - as you said, it was on sale - it will be $5 on sale here too... someday. :)

Same thing but with no DRM basically.
It'll probably crash more at loading screens because of we5p's mod being included and make installing other mods next to impossible, again because of we5p's mod being included.

There is a separate link for the unmodded version of the game included in the install of the game :)

Just to make sure I've understood this correctly, what parts of wesp5's unofficial patch (9.5?) are an option in the install of the game? The release info indicates some aspects (technical) are included, but not the full patch. More detail please :)

No, basic version of patch 9.5 is already included in our build, no separate install needed.
Lol - you answered while I was amending :)

That's an interesting benefit which isn't available via Steam and should mean that the GOG version runs on most systems without some of the tweaks needed to get it to run on Steam.

Presumably, if you overwrite the basic version with the full unofficial patch, or update it later, there shouldn't be any conflict.

Nope, not at all, although patch readme states that saves might be incompatible.
(or maybe it's just for switching between legacy / patched version - backing up saves is always a good thing >.> )
Well, I think GOG has stolen a march on Steam. :D

Terrific idea to liaise with wesp5and I hope he becomes an active member on the GOG forum as he is on Steam.
I played it for along while on disc and then my discs stopped working. Now I have it on Steam (Win 7) since many years. Put 347 hours into it Steam tells me and I could very well increase that considerably if I weren't on a backlog reducing mission. There are a few big mods I havent tried yet, mostly been playing with Clan Quest Mod 3.0 with included Arsenal Mod. It's great that it has finally come here on GoG.

What is the "additional content" included in the full version of the patch?

Projectsonic: Same thing but with no DRM basically.
After you install the Steam version (1.2) and then install the 9.5 Wesp UP, there's no DRM on the Steam version, either. The game executable for the patch is not a Steam executable and Steam doesn't run or have to run when the game is played with the 9.5 unofficial patch applied--and I cannot see any reason to try and play the game without the Unofficial Patch...! I bought my Steam version a couple months ago when Steam had it on sale for $4.19 or something...;)

GOG didn't have it for sale--but I like Gog's idea of integrating the UP with the main install...! Valve isn't going to take the time to offer something like that...!

There are two versions you choose from when installing Wesp's patch. The basic version (included with the GOG version) is simply bug and crash fixes. The "plus" version restores cut content with some artistic license. Some people like what the plus version adds and changes to the game, others do not. There is a lot of new content in the plus version, I do not currently have it installed, so I can not provide a change log.
