Okay. This is the final request i have, concerning Bloodlines. I can't run the retail version on win7, so i HAVE TO use unofficial patch whatever. But as i already said many times, i want/need/desire the original experience. Naturally, i need help in TWO things and that's it, i am never again bugging you for a favor...

Obviously, WITHOUT removing or breaking anything from the unofficial patch, since game won't run without it...

1) Need the ORIGINAL maps of interiors, exteriors, i want everything as it was in 1.2 retail legit. I appreciate the new area designs, but i am a stupid old timer who wants his shit exactly as 12 years earlier, intact!

2) How to return the dialogue and the quest glitches for completing the same quest twice, than 1.2 retail legit had? I am one of those rare gamers who don't like much the "fixing" of exploits or the original dialogues/lines/interaction, so pretty please, i need some directions.

Just give me a way to restore those and i am out for good! Again, i appreciate all the work and effort put in this rare masterpiece of a game, but honestly and doubly so, since we are all grumpy good old gamers here, i need badly my fix of the ORIGINAL experieeence! Please, help!!!
You're not a grumpy old man or anything like that... You're of Ventrue blood and THIS is your obsession! You can only feed on what you believe is unmodded 1.2! Ten+ new conversations about the same thing.
you could install the fan patch to get all the tools you need and then install the retail game the way you want.

after patching there will be a folder: ...\VtMB\Patch_Extras\Player Mods

you can find tools like a 64bit installer and a resolution patcher there.
I don't know if this is everything you need but its a start i guess
Wesp5 ruined the game with that damn patch. I'll send you a proper alternative that fixes bugs without modding the bloody game.

If you're talking about the TPG, it won't help him. What he wants is a couple of useful bugs that he liked to be available again and, as an actual bug, the TPG fixed it too. Unfortunately, I know very little about such things and can't help outside of his finding an old machine to play the game on with his disc version.

Nope. As i said, i need the original maps of interiors/exteriors and the original dialogue lines. Now i will try the TPG. Worst thing, those 2 exploits won't work. As you are mistaken, no big deal. Restoration of ORIGINAL MAPS and DIALOGUE is my priorities, here.

The original dialogue can be found in the pack101.vpk archive which can be extracted with the VPKTool. And you can use the VPKTool to restore the original map files by installing the patch extras and then using VPKTool to copy the default level entity lists from there into each map. But beware, this will probably break some scripts so you could try to restore the default Python scripts from there too...

The only logical way I can see from here is to try to eliminate the problem that is preventing you from running the vanilla version of the game on Win 7, as normally it should work on it (with some tweaks maybe).

Other than that, you can try to copy all of the .vpk resources from the original retail installation, and put them in the folder where the GOG version is installed. I have a feeling that it will break something, but it's your best shot, since any other way will require more efforts than it's worth.

If i copy paste the maps from same name dir from original retail game in GOG version, and do the thing you propose right here, will i have the desired result?

I would suggest to replace the whole Vampire folder as a start and see what happens.
Whether you will get the desired result or not can be only said for sure after some testings.

This should probably work as the Unofficial Patch stuff is inside it's own folder except for the fixes to make the game run on modern systems in the first place. Only copying the maps will not work...
Thank you all.

Sorry; I seem to have issues reading carefully of late.
