Can you explain how you managed to do this? Is this something that may collide with future Unofficial Patch updates?

I don't know to be honest. I just updated the changelog for everybody's information.
However, I'm guess they simply added a library utilized by GOG Galaxy to offer the Cloud Save feature. I don't think they changed anything at the game itself, thus no implications for unofficial patches expected. Worst case might be, that the Cloud Save doesn't work with every unofficial patch, so you would have to deactivate it in Galaxy or play the game native, without GOG's client.

Wonder why they didn't update to 10.3.

Because 10.3 is still a release candidate and not final...

Ah, i see. Didn't realize that's how it worked with your patches. Just noticed the (Release Candidate 1 & 2) notes in the changelog on Moddb. Guess i missed that part.
I can see a 10.3 patch here https://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/4647/7/ released on 28/4. This is the stable version, I suppose? Do I need anything else for a first playthrough? So if I install the game through Gog Galaxy, I will then install the patch and I'm ready? Or I should better wait for Gog to update the game to 10.3?

Yes, this is the 10.3 final and you can install it on top of your GOG version. But better diable auto-updating by Galaxy otherwise it may downgrade the game in the middle of a playthrough which will mess your save games up!

Thanks I did exactly that just before you posted by following an older post from the other sticky. The exe of the patch found the galaxy directory and I installed the patch and then run the game from the shortcut it created on the desktop. Changed resolution to 1920x1080 and it works great:)

Have GOG given a reason why 10.3 hasn't been added to the install options in Galaxy yet?
