alcaray: People do get fired, from time to time. It might be a good idea to wait and hear what happened instead of making up stories. On the other hand, there might be personal and personnel reasons why we might not hear the story at all.
I agree. Remember, Troika had a reputation of not being able to finish a product with often major changes being done late in the process. Perhaps this was repeating with Mr Mitsoda. I'm not saying it was just that it's possible. We don't really know what this means. The final product might be better or worse. What is better and worse? Bloodlines was an edgy product and it sounded from past reports that BL2 was being made more mainstream. Is that better or worse? I'd say worse but there are many that would say it's better. Is a technically good product that doesn't sell well good versus a shoddy production that does? It's an old story; the artist vesus the accountant.
Me, I don't ever pre-order and usually wait to buy a game for at least a year after release since it seems normal practice is to release a game and let the buyers do the bug testing. I wait for the one or two major patches that nearly always happen. Plus, I want to know what I am getting before I buy so I wait until I get a feel for what is really is. This game could be quite different from Bloodlines and still be a great game - there will never be another Bloodlines anyway - game companies don't have enough patience and integrity to pull that off. I'm just hoping for an enjoyable game and for there to be some consistency if they should recall any characters from Bloodlines. Redemption was very different from Bloodlines - a kill everything in sight game so not really an RPG - but it had a great story and was fun. I guess I'm just saying it'd be wise to wait and see.
