This game is great.
And the music is also great, especially in the clubs.
I am not that far in the game, but I love the music from the asylum and the last round.

please gog, give us the soundtrack.
If not from gog, can you get it somewhere else?

Just look in the files, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\Vampire\sound\music. All the music is there, even Wesp5's additions from the unofficial patch.

Though, as this thread states, http://steamcommunity.com/app/2600/discussions/0/540739861569663594/, don't play the music directly from the folder with Windows Media Player. For some reason it messes them up and makes the game crash. Copy the music folder to a separate location and play them from there.

You can also find them in the GOG version. But here you have to check both directories: /vampire/sound... for the original ones and /unofficial_patch/sound... for the ones added by Wesp. This is right. Media player messes the files up so bloodlines crashes. So as hurvl said, the best is to copy them in another directory. Or at least make sure the write protect flag is set.

Even better - use VLC. It shouldn't mess anything ;)

It would be great if the mention of the soundtrack was on the game page though :)

They can only list optional downloads. As there is no separate download, I'm guessing they can't provide one because of music licensing. What we're talking about in this thread are the actual game files, which is academically a different matter.

If they stated that the soundtrack is included we will see two threads a month asking what happened to the download link, and at least one person will mistakenly believe they have downloaded it before and go on to rant about poor business practices by GOG pulling content without warning and using false advertising.

I got most of the CDs from Lacuna Coil because of "Swamped" in the game.

They're pretty awesome. The two I mentioned were the only two I knew without doing any research.

What we NEED!

1) Vampire REDEMPTION SOUNDTRACK (it was an exclusive bonus of the collector edition and it is not present in game's files).

2) Vampire BLOODLINES SOUNDTRACK (it was an exclusive bonus of the collector edition/preorder and if you exclude 3 tracks and one music video, it is present in game's files).

3) Music from the Succubus Club (darkweave music dedicated to the 13 clans, 1 for each)

4) Another White Wolf music CD that was inspired from the World of Darkness theme. Can't remember its name or content, though...

I would buy them even full price (20 bucks per cd). Those are collector pieces and no longer available. Especially 1 and 4, i couldn't locate anywhere, not even retail!

GOG, do your thing!
