Isn't the game a bit expensive ? (20 dollars)
I mean it's a 2004 game, I guess it should be cheaper.

I believe it was $9 and not on sale when I rented it from GoG.

EDIT: I just noticed you're French. GoG has some sort of varied pricing system depending on where you live. That may be the reason.
EDIT2: Nope, I just checked: it's $20 here too. Probably trying to take advantage of the new game (Bloodlines2) supposedly coming to market. But, yes, it is currently badly over priced.

I paid full price ($20) for it day-one when GOG finally got it a couple years back... and to me it's still worth every penny :)

But I loved the game when it released (even with all the bugs it had before years of patching), so the nostalgia glasses weigh heavily on my opinion. It goes on sale often enough, so if you're unsure, just wait for the next one.
It's 20$ because it hasbecome a timeless classic. But it goes on sale all the time, so just wait for one...
Alrigjt, thanks for your answers guys I will wait a sale
Way, way too expensive. Most relatable game I can think of is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 which came out around the same time, is also buggy and unfinished, and is also significantly longer, yet is still normally half the price of Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. KOTOR 2 also has the Star Wars branding to bump up the price, but still it is half as expensive as Bloodlines, and has gone on sale for less than $4. I don't know what they're thinking. I'm reluctant to buy the game at its typical sale price of $10, $5 seems more reasonable to me. Other games that seem like good counterexamples to this game's price are Bully, which came out after Bloodlines and is still less expensive (Scholarship Edition's lowest price is just over $5), and Postal 2, another underground classic from the same time that you can get for $1 on sale. Seriously, put this game out for $5, at the most, or people will just steal it.

I would imagine that they set the price according to demand for the product. If people will buy the thing at the current price then they should not consider lowering it.

While I wholeheartedly disagree with your sentiment, I won't down vote your post for it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Still... Postal 2?

I was simply trying to bring up other games from around the same time that have a mostly cult following to this day. I think Postal 2 is a great game, personally.
I was looking to get it but I really don't see myself buying an almost 20 year old game for 20 bucks. Base price should be 10 at max if I'm being generous.

Your loss.
