Being that VtMR will always be one of my favourite games, I wanted to solidify the memories literally my 3D printing a few of the models.

Has anyone tried to do similar? Various challenges present themselves such as holes in models which aren't practical when moved to the real world.

There is a program that you can use to do "3D scans" inside a directx game, I used it for my Saints Row 3 "boss", though I can not for the life of me remember what it was called. It kind of worked, but required a lot of fixing afterwards.

I imagine, though, given that Kristoph and everyone else in the game are set models, not customisable ones, their 3D models in the files should be in the data files. The NOD sdk seems like it can "unzip" the nob files that contain the character models, so I'd suggest looking into that, you might be able to extract them and convert them to something 3D printable.
