The original Unreal Tournament was, and remains, the best multiplayer first person shooter going around outside of Quake III. The weapons, level design and team-oriented game modes all make this totally addictive, and the gameplay requires the right mix of skill and fun to make it enjoyable for newer players, but deep enough to keep playing for years, and years, and years (nine so far in my case).
UT>quake >_>. actually UT > alle. But quake 3 is alright too. wish gog would upload the quake series.
Talking about Quake..

Why is someone mentioning s newbie game in a forum that's not about newbie games? I mean if newbies like to suck up to id then go to another forum and do it (suck ups like the company, not the games). Seriously though ... why mention a pathetic, forgotten and laughed at old piece of rubbish - in the wrong forum entirely?

I don't get it? doesn't GOG specialize in old rubbish??

Anyway, i am a big fan of unreal tournament and Quake3.

The genius of quake3 is the way it manages to level the playing field a little bit... and what i mean by that is, no matter how good your opponent is, it always grants you at least some kills whereas many other similar games, your nothing more than target practice for elite players.
