how do you manually save the game! if you are playing the hard difficutly it claims you must "manually save" pah! no manual save command I can see! seems if you play above medium difficulty no autosave either! sux!

There is one specific room where you can save the game. It's encountered early on, and there is an item you get that can warp you back to the room. I believe it is impossible (unless there's a glitch i don't know about) to bypass this room.
