So my friend and I are having trouble connecting with each other in Multiplayer, but I haven't been able to figure out why. We've tried all of the different modes, I've tried opening up the required ports, disabling all anti-virus programs and finally disabling firewalls completely.

I've run the program as an Administrator and I've experimented with trying to create session on both of our machines with no avail. We're both in the same room running off of a router, the router is working fine I've tested it with other games, and we're both running Windows 8. I was curious if anyone else was having trouble with Multiplayer sessions in Unepic or if it's just us? Is it the game or something we're not doing right?

If you have any information or ideas that might help I'd really appreciate it!

Thank you so much.

If you are in the same LAN, then you don't need to open any port.
The client should insert the local IP of the computer who creates the game, and it should work.

To obtain the local IP execute CMD, type "ipconfig" and press ENTER.
You will see your local IP address (IPv4) that should be 192.168.1.(number from 2 to 255)

I may have neglected to mention it in my initial post, but we had tried to connect using that method to begin with, and several times at that to make sure it wasn't just a fluke we weren't able to connect to each other, and we just could not get a game up and running. I'm using a static IP address, so my IPv4 is always the same, but I had checked under "ipconfig" in the command prompt to make sure I was inputting the right address and I was.
I only began to mess with the settings in my firewall and such afterward, so that I was absolutely sure none of those things were causing the connection problems. I had also done the same on the other pc, but I still have not been able to connect and haven't found a solution.

So if there's anything else that I could try, I would be more than happy to do so. I really enjoyed this game's single player campaign and now I would really like to play through the other maps with a friend.
I just bought the game today to specifically play multiplayer!!!

Like retromonkey, I also can not get any of our networked PC's to see the created game.
Checked countless times that the I.P. was correct and even opened the ports the games asks for.
Nothing!!!

If this is a glitch it needs to be fixed fast!!

Or I hope someone finds a workaround!!!!
Same exact for me!!
Hey Gamers!

we also just got this specifically for multiplay0r. we've tried everything (forwarding ports, adding exceptions for firewall, double/triple checking ips) nothing works.

:(

gog pls
not working here either. I'm kinda frustrated.
I've ran netstat to see if unepic was doing anything... nope.
i even broke out wireshark to sniff my own traffic.
unepic is not even TRYING to open a connection.

Well, actually it doesn't seem to be fixed for me as I get the''Stablising connnection..." messag all the time...

Any help?

Edit:

Obviously, I need to buy multiple versions of the game, right?
Because at the moment, I'm trying to connect two different computers with the same game installed on both. Sao I guess this won't work.

Edit (agin):

Sorry, sorted.
