Like the title says

Now that its on GoG, I finally want to get into Umineko but before I buy and install it was wondering if the patch on git hub is working with this release.

Any help is appreciated

This is a bit late, but yes! I have question arcs on steam and answer arcs on GOG, and the patch worked on both games. The version of Umineko released on steam is the same one as on GOG (Mangagamer release), so the patch works fine. If you encounter any errors, you can also check the 07th-mod discord server, which is provided on the front page of their website http://07th-mod.com/home/ if you encounter any issues or have any concerns.
