Hello people,

I started to play this game a week ago as a Mage and I'm now exploring level 3. I was talking to Sseetharee before understanding the whole Lizardmen language and it seems I gave an answer he didn't like. He's now hostile against me, and I don't want to kill him :'(

Is there any way to make him to be friendly again?

Thanks.
running away and resting a few times may work

or loading a save from before you talked to him/her

Thanks, I'm going to try that. I can't load a save from before because I accidentally saved the game after he got upset :'(

In Sir Cabirus' tomb, there is a Sceptre of Ally, which has a few charges and can make hostile monsters friendly again.

There are 4 save slots. I'd suggest naming on "new level" and using it, whenever you enter a new level of the Abyss. Name another one "shrine" and use it, before praying at a shrine. Then I use one for saving at the end of a playing session and the fourth one for saving within a playing session.

Thanks, this is something I should've done since the beginning :'( I've tried to rest a few times and it didn't work either. So I decided to restart the game with a fresh new character, and I'm already at the second level (the game is very fun anyways, it wasn't exactly a pain for me to start over). So I should follow your suggestion from now on.

As a side note, I've decided to play as a druid this time, because the manual says it's a good combination of combat and magic, and although I enjoy magic very much in this game I found my mage to be very weak on combat. Will focus on attack and sword skills from now on (eventually increasing casting and mana skills on the way).

Yep, a magic build is not very viable in this game. In fact, you only need a few utility spells, so focus mostly on one melee weapon.
