Hi;

I can play Ultima 9 just fine, either with Glide (emulated) of DX.

But, either way, I can´t see the cutscenes.

Everytime that a cutscene plays, I can HEAR it just fine, but instead of seeing it, I can only see the mouse cursor.

After the cutscene, the game resumes just fine.

Any hint?

PS: I´m using Windows 7 64 bits, and my video card is a Nvidia GTX560 Ti with the latest video drivers installed.

Thanks in advance.

SOLVED:

After lots of trial and error, I´ve discovered that uninstalling the "k-lite video package" was the solution for the problem! Somehow those video codecs were messing with the Ultima 9 internal video (FLIC?) player.

it's not necessary to uninstall klite, enter in start menu group dedicated to the software and search for ffddshow and enable exception for audio and video pointing both to ultima9 .exe, so when you run the game klite won't start,

That fixed it for me, thanks a ton :-)
