Does anyone know if GOG's version of Ultima 7 can run on Android? I have a tablet that I've been installing all the old emulators on since older games don't use as much juice, it seemed a perfect combination. I prefer GOG's packaged installer but I don't think Android recognizes it. Has anyone plated around with this yet?

I don't have an Android device, so I have no idea if the hardware is strong enough. GoG is selling Ultima VII for DOS wrapped up in DOSBox to run on Windows 7, so if you just take the game files and put them in DOSBox on Android you should be fine. Obviously the installer is written for Windws, so it won't run on Android, you'll need a Windows machine to get to the game files. I might also be possible to compile Exult for Android, but that is a task for peploe who know what they do.

Yes, you just need to take game files after GOG installation.
It works perfectly on Android device with DosBox emulator. I would recommend "DosBox Turbo" which has built-in MT-32 emulation !!! (perfect for ULTIMA 7 !!)
I know this is a old post, but just thought I'd mention that there's a Exult developed for Android. Works pretty well, complete with downloadable audio files.

Hi smartimp. I tried this today, but I keep getting "xmmhand.c Program terminated by code" when I try to run. I've disabled EMS and UMB support and upped the memory in the dosbox settings through the DosBox Manager profile settings.......any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.
