ive got the original big box version of this game and i noticed that my floppy disks have white labels on them (similar to pictures online of the serpent isle disks), but the pictures ive seen online show blue labels for black gate.

whats the difference between the two?

are mine worth more? are mine printed earlier/later and they changed the design?

Im guessing they were printed later, maybe when the add ons were coming with white labels also.
I remember having the game with forge of virtue included, and maybe one other?

i think youre right about it being printed later

the cloth map included with it is a thinner material than my other boxed copy.
the other map is a thicker, wooly material like a plush tea-towel, whilst this one is more like a cotton t-shirt type material.

looks like the age old cutting costs stuff.

still got the original receipt in the box. was bought back in 1993. not sure if that corresponds with the original game release or not.
