I'm wanting to play the series, but it keeps opening up in fullscreen mode and is really distorted. I'm trying to get them to open up windowed, but I can't find the option to do so. Would downloading DosBox help me change the settings?

For games that run in dosbox:
There should be a file called something like dosbox.conf in the game directory.

There is a line that says fullscreen=true
Change "true" to "false"

Once you have started the game, you can switch by pressing Alt+Enter.

All of GOG's DOSBox games come with a configuration programm, just in case you don't want to edit a txt file.

It's called Dosbox Configurator.lnk or DOSBox Configuration.lnk

Start that and on the Basic Settings page you can choose a graphic mode and check whether you want full screen on or off. Save your settings and start the game.
