Are the intro's animated videos, or just slide shows?.

Edit: I meant for Terror from the Deep, not UFO Defense.

Terror from the Deep had a Introviedo, no slideshow but if cinematics are important for you the game might feel a bit dry.

I was asking because I already have the HD version of TFTD, and wanted to get the CD-ROM version of the game also-not a big deal though.

What is the HD version of TFTD? Incidentally, I used openxcom to play TFTD and it was easy to replace the dos music with the CD music from the playstation version. And the same for UFO Defense. If there are any other assets from the CD version that's not in the dos version, possibly video clips, then I'd be surprised if those couldn't be easily imported as well.

Matewis,
The only difference between the 3.5 inch floppy disk version, and the CD-ROM version was the intro video. The HD version had a slideshow for an intro, and the CD version had an animated video. The version that's on GOG.com is indeed the CD-ROM version of the game; I purchased the game along with with X-COM Enemy Unknown and X-COM Apocalypse yesterday during the sale.
