What's your graphic card? Intel ones are not supported.

Sorry for you. This was only written on the past box version, and GOG didn't write it again.
But, if a gamer, you should know the unwritten rule that you have to choose between Nvidia or ATI/AMD cards (but not their bad ones..).

Out of curiosity, which Intel card you have?
Some Intel cards do support different OpenGL modes. Try checking if your graphic drivers are up to date.

I have Intel X3100 and it works just fine (CD version, not from GoG).

So it's not true that Intel are not supported

That is true, the devs didn't care about Intel cards. But at last Intel decided to support the pc games.

When people say a game doesn't support a certain line of cards, it means the game will not run at all. Devs not caring about Intel or not building the game with Intel cards in mind doesn't mean Intel is not supported
