Ok so now that we are sitting with the game loaded on our machines, will we get to play, per se, tonight at midnight, or is it more akin to some nameless and nebulous release moment occurring "at some point tomorrow"?

I hope it's tonight. Is preloading a new feature with gog galaxy? I've haven't noticed this before on here. With that said i'm sure that this will come down from Paradox and they are in Sweden so... who knows.

Usually with Paradox games it's around 18.00/6pm CET the day of release. For Tyranny it's 17.00 CET

Which is 2am on the 11th here. So, not the 10th. I wouldn't mind if they'd just come out and say it'll unlock at 17:00 CET in the release date part of GOG's information, but having to track it down away from there makes the claim of the 10th feel a bit dishonest.

Tyranny is no available on Steam, but I still can't start it here on GoG.

There are a few people saying that the GOG version already unlocked for them, but I still keep getting the splash screen that says "Tyranny will unlock on blah blah blah".

I preloaded it through GOG Galaxy. Was that my mistake?

Using Galaxy I chose to verify my installation and, after a couple of minutes I'm now playing, so try that.

So I predownloaded the game. Now it seems there is a 4.8 GB download again. Is this normal? Seems strange that I predownloaded it just to download again around 5 GBs. I had to verify/repair to even start it.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Says it's updating and doesn't calculate any update size ... So it is not really doing anything. Restarting Galaxy didn't work either for getting him to finally load things.


Edit: Ok, after a few restarts of Galaxy Client, aborting the update, checking game again and waiting it now works and updates.
