jimnms: It only happened the first time I opened Galaxy after installing from the downloaded installer. I generally use Galaxy as a downloader then install and play the games outside of Galaxy unless they have Galaxy specific features like achievements. Since Tyranny has achievements, I use Galaxy to launch the game. I just built a new PC a few months ago, so I don't have a while lot installed right now. The only GOG games I have installed are Fallout 2 and Planescape: Torment, which I installed with backed up installers and did not import into Galaxy. Even when i don't use Galaxy to launch games, I still run it every week or so to keep it updated.
Here's a step by step of what I did:
1. Opened Galaxy and downloaded the installer from the Backups and Goodies section.
2. Minimized Galaxy, and installed the game from the downloaded installer.
3. Switched back to Galaxy. Tyranny was already on the left, but it showed it was updating. The update was the size of the game download. At first I thought it was just verifying what was already there, but then noticed it was taking a long time.
4. I canceled the update, then did a Verify/Repair, which went pretty fast and it then downloaded a small update like it usually does after importing a game.
Thanks for the info, I'll keep investigating the issue.
