Firstly from the mod creator:

Worldmerge combines the Two World 2 main campaign, the eleven multiplayer adventure maps and the whole Pirates of Flying Fortress Expansion into one coherent, newly balanced singleplayer gameworld. The experience curve as well as the levels of the monsters have been adjusted accordingly - reach lvl 65+ and still find challenging adventures.
Worldmerge ties everything together with a very long new questline sending you all around the world of Antaloor, even to the most hidden corners. You will find three new difficulty levels (More Vanilla, Novice, Expert and Master) with various tweaks and enhancements, each for a female or male player character, that bring a lot of extra challenge.

This is fantastic, it fixes many issues people have with TW2 and its IMO a must play, if you want it to play like vanilla with just the new quests and Worldmerge choose the More Vanilla option.

I would recommend playing at least 30 minutes to an hour prior to world merge to get the basics setup then pop out install Worldmerge and set More Vanilla setting and go have a blast!

See THIS POST for an updated quick how to run tutorial with current installers as the original website is now defunkt. My download link above still works. Maybe we should mirror this someplace?

Thanks for this, I thought it had all gone horribly wrong until I followed the link to the website and read what you should do at game start.

There is some strange character things going on when I try to initially create my character, head on heads faces in front of heads, see through heads etc. I found it easier to select one of the randoms, there are some weird character builds in there.

Thanks for posting this. I probably wouldn't have realized to go look for mods otherwise. This sounds like a fun thing to have when I start really playing the game.
Thanks for the mod info going to download right now.
Does it add the Village Mode to the single player campaign?
I am playing with Worldmerge 1.4a.
In the Crystal Cavern, after the 'waking of the army' cutscene, Dattan did not give me a reward. He's just standing there, frozen. And so is the soldier next to him.
I left the Crystal Cavern (and the frozen NPCs) and went for the Tower of Fangs. Guess what. The gate/door of the Tower of Fangs is closed - and Dattan is nowhere to be found.
There are no console command to fix broken quests or to open locked gates, so, as nice as Worldmerge is - and I have to say that I did enjoy every moment playing it - I just deleted the whole thing. I'm too far in to start again (completed all side-quests that were available and doable).
I kept the saved games in case GOG enables a console command to fix it so I can move on.

Snap this DOES sound awesome.

I'm guessing that it's not compatible with current savegames? I may have gotten halfway through New Ashos before thinking to check the forums...
Is version 1.4a is a final version? I think I seem to see a version from the end of 2015 before the site went down. Now that I can finally get Pirates DLC I'm unable to load the Worldmarge page from few days now... :(

Hi guys, I bought two worlds II + pirates Dcl, here on gog, then downloaded the mod merge. And I can't get it working. It says: start the game and save your character. I can't save him. I can start the game, choose character then it goes into game. Then I tried to get back and restart game pirates, as the read me says, however no mod is activated. Modmerge installed properly in my game folder (there is now a subfolder -mods with all the wd files inside).

Any ideas or anyone from the original modmerge team I can contact? Or a way to edit files myself?

Thanks
From what I know, you must get into the game. Save your progress. Leave the game. Lunch Pirates of Flying B. import the character without leveling and you should be set up. I ware waiting for main mod forum to repair itself to fetch the latest version, but it looks this will not happen, so I'll try this version instead-will let you know how it went.
Offtopic-you heard that new DLCs for Two Worlds 2 are coming? The graphic it should be remastered with one of those.

Can you provide a link? I rather enjoyed TW2 (and TW1 as well), so a new DLC would be welcome.
:D But, but, it's on the first post of this topic...

He's talking about the DLC, not the mod:
