In order to make tropico 3 run, I have had to delete the UserConfig2.lua file. Please don't tell me that there is no other cd key.
It's in your GOG account. Click on My Account, click on the Tropico 3 box image, Right under the Game Installer button is My serial number. Type it into the Tropico 3 dialog box, and you're good to go.
Sorry for bumping this, but I put my serial key in after getting rid of userconfig2.lua and the game says it's wrong. Now what?

EDIT: Nevermind, when I copied it from my browser there were just some spaces or something. Just popped it into notepad, backspaced a couple times, copy/paste, and it worked!

I really Wish this particular point of information was easier to find. I've nearly had a meltdown trying to find it. I think there is a certain assumption that everyone knows about it, leaving slower people like in some trouble.
I can't seem to find it in my account :-( Please help huhu.

Find the game in your library, click the "More" button and find the "Serial Keys" section.
