I would rather buy it here than on steam.

We don't currently have plans to release the soundtrack on GOG, but we might consider it in the future if there's enough demand for it.

For now, you can also purchase it directly from the official Trine soundtracks site (available in both MP3 and FLAC): https://trinesoundtracks.com/

Linda_FB: release the soundtrack on GOG, we might consider it in the future
If the game is good, I always end in buying all GOG DLCs for completness and continuing giving money for the game relatives

Looks like you guys just stealth released some OSTs finally?

Edit: Appears they were, saw on gogdb.

Added to database 1-14
Trine Soundtrack mp3/flac
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power Soundtrack mp3/flac
Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince Soundtrack mp3/flac
Trine 4: Melody of Mystery Soundtrack mp3/flac
Nine Parchments Soundtrack mp3/flac

It would be nice if these were in a complete package, it's kind of difficult to figure out which game comes with an OST and which one doesn't. For example, Trine 1 comes with the OST. So, why is the OST for sale? I'm guessing that the OST isn't included in the "ultimate" collection so if you buy the collection you'll have to purchase Trine 1 OST separate.

Edit #2: I bought the ultimate collection and it DOES have the OST, so I'm not sure why it's for sale. It requires you to purchase Trine 1 in order to buy the soundtrack, yet Trine 1 includes the OST (even in the ultimate collection). I guess it's for legacy buys pre Enchanted edition. Thanks for bringing us the soundtracks, appreciate it.

The short answer is that the DLC soundtrack has FLAC, whereas the goodie soundtrack is MP3 only. However, the goodie soundtrack has metadata and cover art, whereas the DLC soundtrack does not. You can see my breakdown of the Trine soundtracks on the Trine Series message board (except for "Trine 4: Melody of Mystery Soundtrack", which I do not yet own).
