We're still working on bringing the next patch to gog. Due to factors outside of our control it's taking longer than expected. It'll be up once it's ready! There will be new weapon skins, new combat simulator maps and a ton of bug fixes. So sorry for the wait, will post updates here when I can.

Nothing against you or anyone from the dev team because I damn sure know you tried to help and speed up things but I don't believe this anymore. Team17 seems to not care at all when it comes to this. The only way I see this still happening is either changing the publisher to a better one that actually cares or to start self-publishing the game.

Getting patches well after their release is kinda a bummer, but communicating to us and letting us know a patch is on the way is really really appreciated. Thanks for keeping us informed!

Really am hoping this hits soon! I grabbed this game on GOG through an affiliate link and I'm loving the gameplay. Hungry for more ASAP!

It will now be 3 months since the patch was available on Steam. It's disgusting. I uninstalled the game because I could continue playing (translation bug for the French version, the patch available on Steam fixes it). I regret my purchase and this is the last time I buy a team17 game. I can understand that there may be a slight delay. But it's been 3 months, it's really shameful and an insult to the gog players who are ultimately treated like shit. Less than nothing.

yes and also amazing and rather revealing that still there is ZERO news from any of the company for support over here on this title. I was thinking that maybe they would pop a message in the forums, ANYTHING. Yet I guess they are probably far too busy trying to churn out more pointless cosmetic DLCs for peeps to purchase during this winter. I mean sorry if I sound jaded, yet it would be nice if ANYONE could tell us that IF FROM NOW ON we could get patches with some relatively stable release schedule for this game...otherwise people will come to these forums who may have been thinking of purchasing and do something else. Remember that basic...it works both ways!

So, TELL US devs/producers of Trepang2, will steam get an update in January like it also says on your STEAM page, and will WE ALSO GET that same FULL UPDATE at the same time over here on Gog...like typing a few sentences about the situation over on ANOTHER game forum about this is pretty sloppy work. How about you clairfy some of the thing's users would like to know such as what I just asked in this paragraph? Thank you.

Last thing I heard from wilsonc some days ago on Discord was that there is a new team involved and they are still working on it.

Yup can confirm, the publisher has found a new team that will start work on it soon. Don't have a timeline yet but will post as soon as I have info. I'm really sorry for the delay, we really want everyone to be able to enjoy the latest version of the game but there are a lot of other parties involved and unfortunately we don't have much control over which games are prioritized.
