Game crashes on start up
* For some it seems to help to make sure pulseaudio is installed and SDL_AUDIODRIVER=pulse set.
* For some it seems to help to make sure Chrome has not even been started in the current session

Mouse cursor is still captured when alt-tabbing

* For some (on Steam) activating Steam Overlay first then alt-tabbing helps (will not work for GOG

If you or tonurics would like an admin access to this bug tracker, just send me a PM here or on inXile forums and I’ll take care of this.

Of course, I would totally understand if you would prefer *not* to have such access ;-)

A fresh installation of the game crashed on start for me on a recent installation of Linux Mint (18.1).
Given the comment above about SDL_AUDIODRIVER, I figured the game may depend on sdl libraries being installed and failing silently if it doesn't find them. I installed these from the terminal and the game worked fine after that.

To be exact, I installed the following:

sudo apt install libsdl2-2.0-0 libsdl2-gfx-1.0-0 libsdl2-image-2.0-0 libsdl2-mixer-2.0-0

Hello tpapastylianou,

SDL2 is a dependency, but you might not need the other packages (unless they are dependencies of libsdl2-2.0-0 itself).

I'm going to put together an official dependency list on the inXile forums soon.

This one is extremely annoying.

Thankfully I haven't experienced any of the others. Did have one random crash, and a description box that wouldn't go away until I restarted the game, but otherwise the game has been shockingly stable.
I've been getting periodic hangs while playing. I exited chrome and set `SDL_AUDIODRIVER=pulse` and it mostly works, but occasionally locks up while playing. Sound keeps playing and graphics are on screen, but no response to input. Have to tab away, kill it, and restart.

I'm using the GOG version.
