I've downloaded and installed T:ToN now, and was a backer on Kickstarter - consequently I got the game here using the key/code from my Backer account. However, on the email sent out from GoG, I see they were offering a free copy of Lords Of Xulima to those purchasing a pre-order copy of T:ToN. Do us backers (who after all, paid for the game to be developed in the first place) also get this free bonus game? Seems more than a little unfair if we don't.

ADDED AFTER READING COMMENTS: Seems this was a GOG promo offer, rather than from inXile. Ah, well, no prob - I think T:ToN will more than keep me busy!

Go to your account library page and click the game. Check under serial keys for your copy of LoX

Maybe the promotion was from GOG and/or Numantian Games rather than inXile - was it available on any other stores?

Nothing to be had there. Backer key activated yesterday.

hmmm, I guess it was a gog.com-only promotion then
Yup, you don't get the free game / Lord of Xulima. Which kinda sucks. I just choose GOG, because of that promotion. But well GOG rules and drm-free is yay of course.
Though that's really unclear and not trivial from the description of the order page. Okay, you don't buy the game with money in the gog.com shop, but you've preordered the game way before that date and redeeming a key is a order (though it's free), it shows up on orders. And for the free gog key from the developer, gog is paid.
So, i don't get why backers shouldn't get a key, if that's advertised. I'm gonna write to the support.
Support can also answer here, if in mood <3

Cheers Timmy.
Well, I only bought it through GOG and also didn't get any additional free code for Lord of Xulima.
Maybe its a general problem right now?
That's good to know, if it's general, then GOG will sort that out as soon as possible i guess.
Wrote a support ticket anyway and pointed them to this thread, we will see :)

Thanks, I raised a ticket as well =)

Thank you, it took me ages to find it now, since I use GOG Galaxy (and there is no serial key shown when I do as described).
If I go to the regular GOG website and click on the game there, it shows the CD Key...

Edit: And thanks a lot for the immediate support help as well =)

Okay, then it looks like, KS backers and key redeemer just don't get a key and it's not a general problem.
Well, i'll wait for support answer.

backing is not pre-ordering
In the advertisement it says order before 2nd of March.

If you redeem your backer key, you order the game (with the key instead of currency, because the key is already paid with backing).

What's the difference?

They confirmed KS backers don't get a free Lords of Xulima key because it is a GOG-only promo.

Not that you can really expect GOG to give you a free key for another game just because you backed this several years ago on a different platform.

The difference is that GOG offered LoX in order to get people to buy copies of TToN from them. If you feel you should get a copy of LoX for backing TToN, then you should ask InXile about it.

EDIT: link
Just for Clarification, even though it is a GOG promotion, to ensure people have checked the right spot, the actual redemption key can be pretty well hidden. I've only found it by going through the Gog.com site itself.

1. Go to your Library.
2. Click on the game (Torment: Tides of Numennera)
3. A page should pop up with download links (listed under the heading GAME DOWNLOADS).
4. Above that heading of Game Downloads you should see a blue button that says Try GOGGalaxy (note, I have no idea how to find the code via Gog Galaxy, the only way I have found is via the game download pages on Gog.com).
5. Beside that blue GOG galaxy button you should see another button that says: MORE
6. Click on the MORE button, it should then have a list pop up under neath it.
7. the second link down should be serial keys. If you have the Xulima Serial key, it SHOULD be in that button.

If it isn't there, I would imagine it's because the promotion was done by GOG and not Inxile. However, it would seem like the game would fall under the idea of an extreme pre-order due to being a kickstarter.
