Every other Al Lowe game I know has a character that's based on Ken Williams, but I can't find an obvious one in this game.

I dont know, Pecand seems like a sort of evil ken williams IMHO.

I don't know that he tried to "sneak" a Ken Williams reference in Torin's Passage. He had done this game for his (grand kids? Kids?) - so he might have actually put his heart into it to make it a game they'd enjoy without that many "inside jokes."
