minimog: Have a problem with the game, that I've started play. When I press C button to call character menu game crash. When im trying start game agai - it crashes. And crashes, and crashes (and again and again...) UNTIL deleting save files.
How to fix this?
P.S. Im ALREADY tried compability mode and launching games with admin rights.
Do you use a russian version of Windows (I assume?)
Sometimes special characters do cause a shitload of problems and as the save path of torchlight is saved under your username
"C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\runic games\torchlight\save"
it could cause this problem. If you stick with latin characters only, you shall not have any problem. This is an ooooold Windows bug for many things.
So, do you use non-Latin characters in your username? If so, create a new account and use latin-characters only and see if it then works.
If this is not the case, some more info would be good:
Which OS?
Default installation? (if so, install it anywhere but the (86) folder. For all my GOG-games I have a folder called d:\gog\...... where all my games are installed, never had a problem.
