Is there something wrong (or trickier) with the steam build which was easy with the GoG one ?

All Steam matchmaking is now done through GOG Galaxy, which means most of the work we needed to do was actually to our steam build, and to make sure we didn't degrade the experience of Steam users with the switch.
You're a pretty cool dude, Schatz.

That's actually rather ironic and hilarious right there. So Steam is the problem and if anything GOG experience will be the better one...soon?
If that's true it might makeup for the wait.

I don't like steam (ui is horrible, it has to download stuff all the time to start, its slow, its ugly, it demands it run itself to play what I buy, you have to do this around the bush stuff to get offline and other features to work, it takes up alot of bandwidth), this is my first GOG buy and I'm fairly happy with GOG services and galaxy, which is a rare thing in my pessimistic world (it just needs more communication features between people tho: i.e. chatrooms/voip).

Hey guys, snuck in under the wire. Crossplay is live! Full patch notes and the social media blast will happen in the morning. Just wanted to note that I did in fact set it live today (my time!)
Edit: GAH! I'm afraid I have to take it back. We set things live on Steam and GOG but we are experiencing a ton of technical problesm with the patch. For now, Steam is rolling back, which means they won't connect. Hopefully will ahve these issues resolved soon.

The start of the end of Steam's Supremacy ? (I hope so)
I'm agree with the list of issues about Steam, but the main one for me is their commercial policies.
