It's no secret the guys behind TS want to make the sequel, but need money to fund it. I'd like to help with that so I'm
wondering if buying TS at full price can help get more funds to the developers then say if I were to buy it on sale. Yes, I
know what I sound makes me sound like a cheap bastard, but I both want to play this game and be able to see an
ending to it's story when do buy it. Also please don't tell me wait for the kickstarter... The plans for it has been announced for about a year and I'd like to expedite the funding process anyway I can.

I think the "sequel" has been discussed for about 3 or 4 years now. It's not technically the sequel, per se. Back when this game was being released in the 1990's, the developers were forced to essentially cut the game in half for whatever reason. So, when you play and manage to defeat Toonstruck, you are really just about halfway through the game as it was originally intended. Think I read that the powers that be thought the game was too long, so they decided to split it in half, and release the second part a year later after Moonstruck had established a following. Unfortunately, the game sold rather poorly, which is a shame, because it's probably one of the 15 or 20 best point and click games ever made. So they never released the second part. I've heard a lot of rumors and stuff throughout the years regarding the release of this second part, but I haven't heard any news about it being a sure-thing. I, for one, would love it if they ever released it. Maybe that's something GOG can help facilitate.
