Am I the only one not able to access the options menu, i can save and load but pressing esc doesn't take me back to the title, the only way i can currently quit the game is pressing ctr + z, wtf!?

Uh, you might try reading the other thread on this forum that already deals with this question....just a thought. It is titled: "Options menu on Vista and other PC OS's", and it clearly mentions you can access the Options menu by pressing CTRL+F5....and exit the game by pressing ALT+F4....

odd since its scummvm and normally f1 does the trick but i tried them all nothing brings up the menu to make text faster etc,

worked on the original back in the day on scummvm, just odd not the gog ver.. any clues?

That would be nice, if the *ScummVM* Options do the same thing as the actual in-game ones....
Kinda like complaining that your car won't start, and being told to check the ashtray.

The in-game options menu does work... if you can't bring it up, you'll need to manually update ScummVM (get it here and replace the ScummVM subfolder in the main Toonstruck installation folder). GOG is kind of slow with updating the emulators it uses for the games, so maybe that's the issue.

For those on Windows 10 who downloaded the newest version of Scumm.vm, replaced the old version of it in the Toonstruck file location and found it won't start because of a missing winsparkle.dll file, don't panic.

Look for a free download of the WinSparkle program and download it. Then, search around and you'll find the winspark.dll file you're looking for. From there, copy the file into the Toonstruck file location and the game will work. Not only that, but F1 will work too. Hope that helps.
