I'm new, so apologies if this question has been asked before (I looked, but couldn't see it being asked previously!)

I've just downloaded the game (on Mac) and have started up the game. I know the hot keys that i need to quit, save and load games. However, whenever I try and save the game it doesn't actually save. Whenever I go to the load screen to load a game, nothing has been saved as there's nothing to be loaded.

Has anyone else had this issue that could help out?

Hi I Solved the problem of saving.

What you have to do:

1.- Create the folder /Users/[USER]/Documents/ScummVM Savegames/Toonstruck

Where [USER] is your own user

2.- Enter in the game, then press CTRL + fn + F5 That should open a menu, clic on the option "Back to launcher"
3.- Here go to "options" -> "Paths"
4.- For the savegame path choose the path you previously created.

TA DA!!

Now you can save on your mac!


PS : steps 2 to 5 names can differ because I using my mac in my native language and ScummVM shows in that language.

I've done only this step, and was already able to save. I'm a bit surprised, that it's not created automatically when installing :P or by a script during the first run.

So another way is to open up a Terminal and enter:
mkdir -p ~/Documents/"ScummVM Savegames"/Toonstruck
