Guess you haven't been following the Steam Community discussions much.

I think this is it, because when the made a statement that they'll remove the AI voice lines, they said they'll release the patch to ALL platforms.

But I agree, the way this franchise is being handled is shameful.

At least licensing rights should compel them enough to release the patch on GOG, and working hours costs should prevent them from working on two separate versions from which stripping AI-generated voice lines

One can hope, but it's true that the frenchise is being treated pretty badly by publishers, but it's been the case pretty much since Underworld was not the cashcow they hoped for

Is lucky for some of you to receive a reply, albeit disappointing. Me? I am still waiting for a month, and they have yet to reply to me. I came here again to see what y'all were still discussing. I have bought the games again on Steam and stopped caring about the GOG versions anymore. It's so unworthy of your time at this point. I will ask for a refund here and see if I will get it.

Apparently not enough.

According to aspyr's support homepage they have just (2 hours ago) released the "Hotfix for Patch 2", addressing "this issue by removing all AI voiceover content, while retaining the improvements made in the previous update".

The fix was released on Steam and WE STILL DON'T HAVE THE PATCH ON GOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for supporting this topic. I've been waiting and waiting. I'm just afraid that there won't be a patch. Everyone who can should write to Aspyr. Let them know that people are waiting and getting angry.

Yes, but what about giving them a few days to complete Patch 2 for GOG including the fix? I guess two weeks might be fine, but please let me know in two weeks if we still don't have the patch on GOG. Many thanks in advance!

sent a message a while ago and got a reply. Considering some of the patches had mods from the nexus-mods site; Like the shades for legacy graphics and braid...im at peace. could of sworn i saw the golden pistols as a mod too.

Does anyone know if Patch 2 for GOG, when it eventually comes at some point, will include the Gold PIstols that are locked behind Game Registration on the Steam Version?

None knows, we've been left in the dark for weeks and we ran out of theories and plausible explanations

We can only hope that GOG's critical manpower shortage is the explanation for the deelay and that the update is actually coming (Sometime, someday)

Otherwise, no new patches on GOG means something happened between GOG and the publisher and that's it. No official statements have been made

Considering there was a Hotfix for patch 2 (at lest on Steam) September 19th. There is at least a Chance for a new Try on a GOG Patch now.
If it comes, I can't tell, Just In case I also contacted the GOG Support for answers not bothering with Aspyr
