It does this even though the scans of the exe, savegames, of which it also quarantines, and complete folder show no threats.

I've tested it with both Norton and Malwarebytes and they're clean. Norton thinks it can't be trusted based on not enough evidence and users trusting it, but that's because smarter people install better AV software than Norton.

I always restore the files, tick the box to leave them alone, scan them again for good measure and yet it still doesn't leave them alone, despite the fact they are safe. It doesn't do this with TR4 itself either: just the mod for it. I hate Norton.

You've been here long enough to know that Norton and games don't mix. :P

True Story, I once had Norton detect it's own update as suspicious.

I removed it but my dad still uses it on his laptop and when he ask me for help I don't even need to ask what the problem is.

Considering how shit Symantec's products are, don't know if I should even be surprised.
Yeah, my Dad installed it on all main computers and I was only able to get the free version of Malwarebytes as he is the one paying for our AV subscription each year, which is one reason I haven't already gotten rid of Norton.

Have him pay for Malwarebytes instead, it doesn't suck.
