I've finished making the custom fan patch I said i was working on, but now I just saw TR I-III Remastered has new offline installers labeled "v1.1.1". So have they fixed all the issues with "v1.1.0 DLC" now, or is there still a need/desire to downgrade to 1.0.5d?

I just want to know before uploading my patch for others as it's fairly large! :)

Even if they patch it, I doubt everyone will want the new version. So I'd say it's still worth uploading it. :)

You already put in all that effort after all. :)

I would say, yes. The game is still broken, and Aspyr continues to refuse to allow the downgrade officially.
Every time they update, I have a backup of the old Steam data files that I can overwrite.

Maybe I'll make a patch for the Steam version... and who knows, perhaps we can combine this to make one that works on both Steam and GOG (because the files are different).

That's the kick I needed to finish my patch! I'll post it this week then.

And I would be happy to collaborate on making it work with the Steam version too; I don't own it on that, but am happy to help customers there too (though not sure how Steam works so your help would be appreciated). I am presuming MOST of the filers are the same, just the added DRM Steamworks stuff (and EXE probably) that's different?

I've made patches in the past that pull *from* a Steam install (i.e. when GOG's Space Quest didn't include the VGA version but Steam did, but now that's finally fixed) so have some idea how they set up their folders at least.

Maybe you can take a look at my GOG patch when I post it to see what would need to be changed? It has a full installer to fix registry changes from the update too.
Finally uploaded it, see here:
