There is no information on the sales page whether the game manual or reference card, or any other additional free gifts (avatars, wallpapers, guides etc.) is provided.

No, there are no extras - not that I call a manual an extra! - GOG provide just the game download.

As I recall the original game did not come with a manual- rather the case folded out and there was some basic instructions on it.
