Since 2.8 i cant combine relics any longer. Anyone else has this problem?
Yes, it's a known bug, devs working on a fix.
Thank you. I also filed a bug about parts of the Questlog that just vanished somewhere in Act 3. But is has no real Impact because it only happened to older quests.
Did this update optimize visual performance?
No, this update did not optimize visual performance. Neither DX9 nor DX11 do not work as they should, i.e. not giving the smooth performance of good old Gold Edition. Why bother the graphics part if you just have no proper brains and no proper hands to update it right?

As for this fabled new 'launcher'... well, I regard such cockeyed half-assed botch as an another testament to the highest possible unprofessionalism of current team behind TQ.
If you want Gold performance, you must set it back its zoom level.

It has nothing to do with zoom levels that are identical in both versions. If they would want to learn how to make visual optimization right, they should learn from Grim Dawn developers. Oh, and Grim Dawn developers are the developers of original Titan Quest, what a coincidence!

God bless the GamersGate where I bought the Gold Edition in those times when they weren't just selling Steam keys as they do now.

No. You don't know this game:
" Anniversary Edition
+ Increased camera zoom ranges "

Ha-ha, you're quite funny. Of course, I don't know it. It was not me who played original TQ from its release, and it was not me who bought (why? WHYYY?)) and played this abomination of Anniversary Edition as soon as it came out. I wish I didn't know this latter one at all.

I really don't care a dead satyr's fuck about this 'increased camera zoom ranges' just because the default one (that set on numerical 2 key) is the best zoom level, and it's identical in both versions. Maybe max-out level is wider now (?) though I didn't notice it. Nevertheless, it doesn't matter here just because the issue is not about zoom levels. Graphics now lag, tear and blur on every zoom level, on both DX9 and DX11, with any possible video settings check combination.

Thanks.

Nyktouros: this abomination of Anniversary Edition
I like it very much, this was needed.
The engine is old, so increasing the zoom range asks for a better computer than before.
If you can't upgrade your 10 years old pc, I understand you.

How strange, the game with old engine (TQAE) now runs much worse than the game with newer engine, made by the same people (Grim Dawn)... Maybe it's a matter of skillful/skilless hands, and not of older/newer age, eh?

I just don't want to. I bought it as it was, namely for purpose of playing good old games. Gold Edition runs perfectly. Grim Dawn (especially now, after some good patching) runs perfectly. TQAE runs worse with every next update. And I don't like it all the same.

I hope people would some time finally realize that all these 'enhanced-' and 'anniversary editions' are made such as they are by design, to stimulate people to upgrade their hardware.

That's both, because the devs of TQAE inherited of an engine they don't know very well, they are not the devs of TQ-Gold. Some of the TQ-Gold devs had created Crate, GD, that's why they can correct it.

TQ-Gold was not running perfectly, you're remembering bad. I find it same as TQ-Anniversary, and when I play TQ-A, it makes me remember those drawbacks that I had forgotten.

That's exactly what I'm talking about.

I don't need to 'remember', I ran it literally yesternight as well as two nights ago, and three, and so on ;)

Gold Edition with UPatch 1.17a and anisotropic filtering set at 16 in your videocard control panel runs absolutely perfect on my 10 y.o. rig. I really don't know what issues you're talking about.
