Hi all,

is there an option to have instanced loot in coop online ? I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere, and when people seem to say it's possible, they don't indicate how to change it - if possible. I haven't seen anything in the options...

We use the base game (Anniversary Edition). Is it something added in the expansions ?

The multiplayer system the game uses is host-client which means when you're in multiplayer you're in the game / map of someone else in a way. So the items dropped belong to the game / map which belong to the host.

To have instanced loots, we would need a server hosting and linking the game / map.

To finally answer, no there is no option to have instanced loots.

Not sure what you mean. It's peer to peer for multiplayer and always has been.

I read when the game first released u need to have an online connection to play multiplayer but than they added local multiplayer like split screen or same screen play. I just wanted to know If It is true? It is really fun to play with a friend in the same room.. :)

Again, not that I know of. It's always been peer to peer, nothing else. I don't multiplay though so not sure what options many have been added for the AE version of the game other than peer to peer.

Edit: Just checked and split screen isn't possible. LAN should be though.
