The game starts, shows the developer and publisher screens then crashes to desktop.

Edit: Never mind, it was my PC security being overly protective and stopped the game from working.

Yeah, for some reason anti-virus programmes seem to hate video games. Always best to exclude your games from being checked by them.

Also I would advise not using cloud saving for this game. I don't know what it's like on GOG's cloud, but Steam's screws up far too often with regards to saving the game properly. It's so bad there's even a warning thread about it in the TQ Steam forum.
