Another Regionlock release where customers didn't even get the gamecard. Show the the fucking gamecard with an fucking INFORMATION that this game is region locked at least ffs!

I don't want to defend GOG's region locks - it's a sh_tty practice, no question - but in this case we don't miss out on anything of value anyways. So, meh.

+1 on the "gamecard with you-are-being-effed notice" though. Even Steam at least gives you a generic "unavailable in your region" page.

Yeah, no shit. With all these "old new" games they keep pushing out for an insane amount of money.
What happened to Gog that used to sell old games for a measly 8 euro (or whatever your currency is)?

Yeah, I can't even open the shop page. It simply throws you to the game catalog mainpage if you would like to open a regionlocked game.

Use Tor to make a purchase.

The two most likely causes of region lock are 1) the GOVERNMENT of that region told gog.com that they CANNOT sell the game there. 2) the compiany told gog.com that they cannot sell the game there.

The first possible reasion for region lock means that it is ILLEGEAL to sell the game in that region, gog will not sell the game in that region if this is the case.

The second possible reasion for regin lock is simply do to negtions with the maker/distrubiter of the game. Whoever wants to put the game up on gog.com is free to stipulate the terms and conditions of sales. gog.com is able to accept or reject those terms, negotaions may be possible.

(If the publisher of the game wishes to put any form of drm on the game then gog.com will undoubtedly tell them: No, we will not sell your game if you insist on putting any form of drm on your game.)

So unless ther is a reasion #3 for region locking a game there are no valid grounds for complaining about it.
